As the Nokia X7 Full Throttle Tournament paces ahead, Need for Speed enthusiasts across India could probably have not asked for more. The competition seeks to promote the HD gaming experience in the newly launched Nokia X7. The challenge kicked off to a start on July 7 and it will be carried forward up to August 7.

The action will hit 150 Nokia retail shops, inclusive of Nokia Priority Stores and multi-brand mobile retail outlets. Comprising of two parts, namely an on ground leg and an online phase on Facebook, players have to excel at both the rounds.

Not only have we preloaded the Nokia X7 with the popular gamesAsphalt 5 HD and Galaxy on Fire HD, but our customers can now enjoy a whole bunch of other software improvements through Symbian Anna,” enthused Viral Oza, Director-Marketing, Nokia India.”

“Browsing and page downloading is faster, and Ovi Maps is enhanced with search features, public transportation routes and check-ins for various social networks. Typing texts and emails is also much easier with the vertical QWERTY and split-screen view that Symbian Anna offers,” added Oza.

Those who wish to participate have to visit an enrolled store or visit the online site, register and start playing. The total online and on ground scores will be calculated to select the top 10 gamers. These winners will get a free ticket to the F1 Grand Prix in Singapore which is to be held on September 25 this year.

As for the handset, it offers a 4-inch AMOLED display and 8MP camera. It is tagged at a price of Rs. 22,829. The Nokia X7 Full Throttle Tournament is being held in the cities of Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi + NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Chandigarh.
