Nokia X2 mobile phone soon to grace Indian stores

Nokia X2Just recently we announced that Nokia brought to India its much-awaited Ovi Music Unlimited service. Now the company will soon unfurl into the country its Nokia X2 mobile phone. The latest handset will also come complete with the latest Ovi Music Unlimted offering.

The Nokia X2 is created taking inspiration from the Nokia X3 and X6 models, according to the Nokia Conversations. It sports a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, measures 13mm thin and weighs only 81g. Fashioned specially to suit the needs of music aficionados, the handset sports dedicated music keys, FM radio with integrated antenna, loud stereo speakers, a digital music player and 3.5mm AV connector.

It also offers users a 5 megapixel camera complete with video recorder and flash. They can gain direct access to Facebook from the home screen itself as well as apps and games from the Ovi Store. The mobile also provides Nokia Messaging for IM and e-mail. The device has the ability to also support up to 16GB of storage via microSD card as well as Bluetooth 2.1. Music transfer is made quick and seamless through the full speed USB 2.0. All the music can be easily managed thanks to the Ovi Player PC client or Windows Media Player 11.

The Nokia X2 is expected to hit Indian shores before June-end and will be tagged with a price of €85.
