Nokia unwraps 5800 Navigation Edition

Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition Nokia has unveiled a new edition of the 5800 known as the 5800 Navigation Edition. With newly added features, the 5800 XpressMusic will present users with a wide collection of navigation-based functions and a lifetime of regional navigation licenses.

Mobileburn mentions that this new smartphone will feature the HSDPA data connectivity along with a stunning display. The 3.2-inch widescreen touch sensitive display is ideal for watching clear and crisp content like images, movies and maps.

It is packed with latest version of Ovi Maps which integrates high resolution aerial imagery, terrain maps and weather service information. Additional content can be stored with the GPS chipset offered by the device. A car mount and a car charger and 8GB card in-box come along with the phone.

Users can listen to music through the intuitive music player provided by the company along with capturing countless images with the 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss components and dual-LED flash. They can also save media on the microSD card offered by the phone and play music with the built-in stereo speakers.

Users can get their hands on the 5800 Navigation Edition in the third quarter of 2009 for around $400 excluding taxes and subsidies.
