It is about time the Nokia Lumia 925 and 1020 arrived in India, considering that it’s been roughly three months since we spoke about the former’s imminent release in the country. In spite of listing the phones on its website, Nokia has divulged no specific availability details just yet. But the gadgets will be up for grabs before the onset of September, HomeShop18 has pointed out.
As known to many, the company intends to bill both handsets on their imaging capabilities. But the Nokia Lumia 1020 takes pride in its 41MP PureView sensor as opposed which, the other handset bears an 8.7MP primary shooter. Some of the phones’ camera features which run common cover optical image stabilization, 6-lens optics, a BSI sensor and more.
The 41MP camera-equipped smartphone also offers a relatively higher storage capacity of 32GB and RAM of 2GB when compared to the 16GB Lumia 925 which packs 1GB of RAM. Coming to the similarities again, both Windows Phone 8-powered gadgets flaunt a 1.2MP HD webcam on each of their front panels.
Each has been built around a 4.5-inch 1280 x 768p ClearBlack display and comes fitted with a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset running at a clock speed of 1.5GHz. Even the batteries seen hiding under both devices’ hoods scale up to 2,000mAh.
While the Lumia 925 has been spotted with HomeShop18, Flipkart, Infibeam and Saholic, none have outlined a price for it. Out of the lot, Flipkart is the only online shopping portal which hasn’t revealed any intention of stocking the Lumia 1020 handset, as of now.
