Nokia Lumia 1020 press render surfaces ahead of tomorrow’s almost-certain reveal

Marred by a large number of leaks that have been plaguing it since months now, the Nokia Lumia 1020 has once again surfaced in the form of a press render which showcases its overall design. Ahead of its expected unveiling tomorrow, there’s added proof to believe that it will indeed pack a 41MP sensor inside it. Some of this Nokia phone’s other important specifics have also landed prematurely.

Windows Phone Central which is responsible for bringing out the press render, has said that the handset will even come equipped with an optical image stabilization tool which we also saw on the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom that was launched in India yesterday. The Nokia Lumia 1020 – codenamed EOS – will apparently ship with 2GB of RAM.

Another leak has come through The Verge which has gone on to confirm that a 41MP sensor will be latched onto to the Nokia Lumia 1020. Sample photos posted by Microsoft Windows Phone manager Joe Belfiore on Flickr have given away the existence of this phone, as two such photographs bear the name of the handset. There are even reports that a camera grip and a battery accessory will be unveiled alongside it.

The device is said to have been infused with a new Pro Camera app which bears advanced settings options for users to control. They will supposedly be able to adjust properties such as shutter speed, manual focus and more right from within the app.

There’s just one day left for everything to be cleared out, as a much hyped event has been slated to take place in New York tomorrow, and it’s highly possible that we’ll get to see the Lumia 1020 finally being unveiled at the spectacle.
