Going by the details of the deal, subscribers will be able to download applications onto their handset for free.
But there are certain terms and conditions strung along the promotion, of course. The offer will let Nokia XL users who also happen to be Airtel subscribers, download and install Android apps without paying a cent. It basically lends you 500MB of free data which you can make use of within 6 months.
Now you know that the Nokia XL works on a forked version of Android, meaning you can’t download applications directly from the Google Play Store onto it. So you can use the 500MB data option to get Android applications from the Nokia Store as well as the third-party 1Mobile Market.
