Nokia has announced the release of Nokia Bots, a range of add-ons, aimed at making the user’s life simpler. The bots understand the user’s behavior and make space for themselves on the homescreen depending on the usage frequency of that feature. Furthermore, users can personalize the homescreen as the bots automatically configure and stimulate themselves.
Momentarily, there are four bots that have been launched. These include Profile Bot, Alarm Bot, Shortcut Bot and Battery Bot. The profile bot helps the user by changing profiles according to the situation. For instance if the user is in a meeting, the bot will automate the profile to silent or meeting.
The alarm bot observes the users waking pattern and signals the user to set alarms and profiles accordingly every night. The shortcut bot learns of the applications used most frequently and updates shortcuts accordingly. The battery bot is to remind the user incase of required charging. The bots released are accessible on Nokia N97 and N97 Mini.
