Those who loved the TV show ‘Survivor’ can now feel what it would be like to be stranded on an island without the luxuries of modern world. Gilligames has launched the desert island survival game set in the Space HoRSE universe, called ‘Stranded Without A Phone.’ The game was initially released in October 2009 and after taking in sufficient customer feedback, it has now been launched with several updates, enhancements, features and a web-based item guide.
The player needs to build shelter, hunt for food and other material from the wreckage that washes ashore. The player has to build a space radio with the materials found and signal the radio team to win the game.
The game offers a common RPG-style inventory system, more than 70 items to exploit, arbitrarily generated maps and realistic environments inclusive of day/night cycles and proper weather changes. The task is to survive for the longest time and search for natural items and then use them to create other objects.
The game has been simultaneously released in a ‘Lite’ version which enables potential players to paint a picture of being stranded on an isolated island without a phone. The game can be downloaded from the App Store.
