Photography buffs have finally been treated to the Nokia 808 PureView India release date, which is expected to fall on June 13. So what if it’s actually a smartphone? Its whopping 41MP camera has been grabbing eyeballs ever since the handset made its first appearance.
The phone seemed to be carrying a mysterious air about its India launch right since the preview event was held in the country some time back. It was just a few days ago that Nokia piqued our curiosity by setting up a countdown for a rumored India launch.
But far from speculations, the June 5 release date appears to have gone for a toss. Running through the principal specifications of the handset, it sports an AMOLED ClearBlack 4-inch display proffering images in 360 × 640p resolutions. It carries 16GB user memory that can be extended via a slot provided for a 32GB microSD card.
Talking about the device’s snapper, it is equipped with Carl Zeiss optics and employs PureView technology. Besides NFC and Wi-Fi capabilities, the phone offers HDMI and DLNA for expanding the connectivity options. As for now, the exact price information is not known, though we believe that the company might stick to the speculated tag of around Rs. 29,999. However, there is no official word confirming this bit on the Nokia website.
