Nokia finally freezes the rumored news of its new clamshell 7510 Supernova for T-Mobile by making it official on its website. The outer display of the phone is hidden until it is activated and flashes a light that turns off automatically when not in use.

The Nokia 7510 Supernova phone features a 2.2 inch QVGA display screen supporting around 16.7 million colors. The outer display is a TFT display with landscape mode. The phone sports a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash and 4 x digital zoom. Features like FM radio, video recording, video playback, MP3 player and few pre-installed videos and audio tracks are also integrated in the Supernova phone.

The push-to open side key, a unique feature allow users to open the phone swiftly. The phone comes in with colorful and exchangeable Xpress-on covers. Java games and applications are incorporated in the phone along with Adobe flash Lite 2.0 and Nokia Maps service. The device supports Bluetooth connectivity but lacks 3G. Nokia 7510 phone comes packed in with 27MB of internal memory which can be increased up to 8GB.

The device is expected to come in various colors like red, brown and aquamarine. There is no news on its release date and cost yet.
