Motorola debuts its two latest phones, MOTO W233 Renew and MOTOSURF A3100 at CES 2009. The initial phone is the World’s first phone that is developed using plastics comprised of recycled water bottles. The second phone has superior touch screen functionality.
Motorola W233 Renew:
The Renew is an eco-friendly phone that is been developed to have less impact on our environment. It has a plastic housing built from recycled water bottles. The carbon neutral footprint will minimize the consumption of carbohydrate. The W233 phone comes in a box that is made from post consumer recycled paper.

The Motorola W233 is a simple phone that is specially designed for people whose first priority is making calls. It offers 9 hours of talk time along with CrystalTalk Technology that will provide noise free conversations. It supports memory storage capacity up to 2 GB and integrates basic messaging features.
MOTOSURF A3100:
MOTOSURF A3100 phone will help you to balance your professional and personal lives equally. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system and has a new interface that allows users to easily interact with its features on its 2.8 inch display screen. You can personalize the phone’s home screen icons to give live feeds on news, weather, messaging, work emails and calendar events.
“We developed the MOTOSURF A3100 as a true social smartphone,” says John Cipolla, senior vice president, product development, Motorola Mobile Devices. “Home screen personalization and access to a whole host of applications gets the info you want – fast, and at your fingertips.”
The MOTOSURF A3100 is enriched with features like 3MP camera with auto focus, stereo Bluetooth and Facebook integration. For entertainment you have MP3 player and video recording and streaming features. You can store in ample of data in its massive memory storing space of 32GB.
MOTO W233 Renew phone will be available in Q1 2009 via T-Mobile and MOTOSUFR A3100 will be made available in multiple regions beginning in Q1 2009. Pricing details for both the phones are not yet revealed.
