New LG Chocolate specs revealed

LG BL40 Chocolate Phone

LG Electronics has unveiled vital details and some latest pictures of its new Chocolate handset. Also dubbed as LG-BL40, this is the fourth mobile phone in the iconic LED Black Label Series by the company.

It incorporates a 4.0-inch wide stunning HD LCD screen with an 800×345 pixel resolution. This device comprises of 21:9 aspect ratio which delivers panoramic and cinema-like clear as well as crisp quality. The Dual Screen UI allows users to display content without the need to scroll the entire web page horizontally.

Dr. Skott Ahn, CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications commented, “The initial response to the new LG Chocolate phone is exceeding our expectations by a wide margin. Although much of the interest seems focused on the striking shape of the handset, the real surprise will be when people discover the advantages of the 4.0-inch screen in terms of viewing pleasure and ease of use.”

With the new LG Chocolate, LG has combined the latest in touchscreen technology with a new chic and slick design to meet consumer demand for HD content. This handset revolutionizes the viewing experience on a mobile phone.”

Adorning an extremely appealing style and design, the device carries iconic red highlights. It comes covered in a glossy black finish along with curved tempered glass. Additional features include 5 megapixel camera, HSPA and FM transmitter. The mobile phone provides 355MB of on-board storage along with support for Wi-Fi and GPS.

The new LG Chocolate will hit the stores beginning Q3 this year, in 54 countries. There is no word on the pricing.
