Nagisa concept phone surfaces against the white sand

Nagisa

The depth of the sea, the white foam created with gushing waves and the beauty of the white sand against the turquoise ocean have for long inspired artists and poets. The exquisiteness of the sea has been captured quite literally in the latest concept phone that Yanko Design exhibits. Nagisa, a Japanese term for the sea shore, has been rightly bequeathed to this phone designed by Mac Funamizu.

The Nagisa is outfitted with a dented alpha numeric keypad, mirroring the beautiful trenches created by the incoming waves on the beach. Countering these grooves, the phone strikes a balance as the display bends outward. The designer has concentrated more on the device’s outer beauty than integrating futuristic innovations. It fashions a convex shaped back which renders a slight elevation when laid flat on the desk.

This concept phone sure stands out from the usual candy bar form as it looks more like a white egg. All the same, mobile buffs who are on the lookout for a unique device should surely hope this phone sees the light.
