myOrder Mobile application introduced in San Francisco

myOrder Mobile applicationNow here’s another mobile phone application named the myOrder that enables people to order food and drinks through their smartphones, while at the same time venue owners can study guest preferences, track customer order history and the venues they frequent.

While mobile applications have exceeded their billionth download, the question about their ability to generate substantial revenue still stands – until now. Since the launch of myOrder in San Francisco’s premier nightclubs, hotels and restaurants this question has ceased to exist. myOrder aims to perform various functions such as eliminating the wait-time of the patrons ordering food and beverages, increase in revenues and speedy order placements for social entertainment venue owners plus offers a sales and marketing platform for liquor brands.

This application has been certified by all major wireless carriers. George Karpaty the owner of five popular San Francisco nightclubs, including Ruby Skye, supports this application and has brought myOrder into his venues. He commented, “myOrder empowers me, the venue owner, by giving me access to customer data that allows my staff to provide improved service to our guests. From knowing what they like to drink, to understanding what type of venues they frequent, myOrder helps me and my venues be better hosts.”

Having direct access to patrons ordering drinks at social entertainment venues is quite a lucrative offer to liquor brands. Mobile marketing campaigns are already underway with SKYY Vodka, the best-selling domestic super premium vodka in the U.S., partnering with myOrder to launch the first mobile marketing campaign. All that needs to be done is leverage the application to identify cocktail drinkers and vodka drinkers can directly receive messages from SKYY Vodka. In this way, myOrder helps brands increase their exposure in the on-premise environment and helps draw consumers towards their products.

Hoteliers are also realizing the value of myOrder. myOrder is implemented at the Westin Hotel, which features San Francisco’s largest patio by Rob Gauthier. Many more venues in San Fransisco are implementing myOrder on account of the several benefits that it offers.

The working of the application from the perspective of a social entertainment venue is as follows. A simple myOrder Venue Configuration Form considering beverage inventory, menus and seating layout is completed by myOrder’s support team in tandem with the venue. A myOrder Communication Terminal is sent to the venue which manages customers’ order requests and plugs them in via an Internet connection. In a very short time, i.e. two days, a venue can experience the benefits of myOrder’s mobile ordering.

From the viewpoint of a patron, myOrder works as follows. When users visit any myOrder-enabled restaurant, club, bar, etc. they should launch the myOrder iPhone application. With the help of GPS, myOrder will track users’ coordinates and announce the location they are in. myOrder will then ask them to order and provide a menu. Users have to order and click to confirm. Then users will have to confirm their location. Finally, myOrder will relay users’ order to the venue staff and users can wait for their orders to arrive shortly.
