The Motorola Razr HD LTE Rogers release date for Canada has been set for this fall. Being the improved version of last year’s Razr smartphone, this sturdy device flaunts a larger display with enhanced battery life.

To begin with, the 4.7-inch handset is spill- and scratch-resistant, owing to the Corning Gorilla Glass and DuPont Kevlar fiber coating. It measures approximately 8.4mm in thickness and is said to be the ‘world’s most compact’ smartphone from the 4.7-inch segment. Like most Motorola devices, this one too provides the Smartactions feature that eases out everyday tasks.

“Our customers want fast devices and we are thrilled to exclusively offer them the new Motorola Razr HD LTE,” asserted John Boynton, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Rogers Communications. “The Motorola Razr HD LTE further extends our leadership as the carrier with the largest LTE superphone selection in Canada.”

One of the prime aspects of this ICS-based device is its battery life that can be extended with the help of the above mentioned highlight. It is capable of delivering roughly 16 hours of talktime, 20 hours of music streaming or 6 hours of internet browsing at 4G LTE speeds. The pre-loaded Voice Actions for Android tool allows users to make calls, type texts and search the web via oral commands.

Users will have access to a host of applications from Google including Maps and YouTube. There is also the Android Beam attribute than enables file transfers via NFC. As always, the Play store can be accessed for downloading games, apps, books and much more.

The Motorola Razr HD LTE Rogers price details for Canada are still under wraps. The handset’s release date has been scheduled for this fall.
