Motorola and Sprint released the Photon 4G smartphone which lets users browse, download and multitask at high speeds. It features a 1GHz Dual-Core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and runs on the Android 2.3 platform.
The 4G phone has a host of features such as a 4.3-inch touchscreen with qHD display, an 8MP dual-LED front-facing flash camera for video chat. It has a memory capacity of 16GB and support for up to 32GB SD card. It also possesses Worldphone capabilities to access emails, calendars and news from anywhere in the world.

This phone can support up to eight devices on the Sprint 3G or 4G networks and provides users an access to the huge Android Market. Furthermore, connected to a Motorola HD Station dock the Motorola webtop app allows users to access and develop content from a larger screen.
For customizing the Motorola Photon 4G experience for its users, Sprint and Motorola have also released a list of accessories, like the HD Station with a wireless remote and HDMI cable which is priced at $99.99 and the full-size Wireless Keyboard priced at $69.99. There’s also The Vehicle Navigation Dock and a Battery bundle available at a price of $59.99 and $49.99 respectively.
Sprint has come up with a range of cases, skins and gels to protect this smartphone from damages. A cover and holster combination for protecting the phone called Holster and Shield Combo can be bought for a price of $24.99. Also on offer is a protective gel priced at $19.99 and a two-piece Phone Cover priced at $21.99.
The accessories as well as the Motorola Photon 4G smartphone can be purchased from online retail sites starting next month. The smartphone has a price tag of $199.99 attached to it.
