For the entertainment seekers, Motorola has something new to offer. Blockbuster Inc recently announced the Blockbuster OnDemand application for Motorola mobile phones. The application offers the Blockbuster OnDemand movie download service in select Motorola phones and provides Motorola the access to the Blockbuster’s digital library of numerous Blockbuster OnDemand movies.
The application provides digital entertainment for the first time to mobile devices thereby enabling users to download the entertaining service on their mobile phones. It also provides on-the-go download allowing users to have digital entertainment right on their mobile phones.
“Motorola is a recognized global communications leader and extending the Blockbuster brand and our OnDemand service into their portfolio of innovative new phones is a natural extension of our digital strategy,” stated Kevin Lewis, Senior Vice President of Digital Entertainment for Blockbuster. “People are increasingly relying on their mobile phones to stay connected to the things they love the most — including their favorite movies and TV shows. The integration of our Blockbuster OnDemand service into Motorola’s mobile phones will provide access to thousands of movies from the moment someone initiates their service.”

The application will also bring Blockbusters multi-channel vision to the users where customers would be allowed to use the company’s Blockbuster OnDemand application. This newly launched application will allow users to enjoy movies effortlessly on their phones. The titles for rent or purchase can also be downloaded, besides consumers can also schedule movies for mail delivery now. Blockbuster Online now makes all these services available for users to enjoy. They can also reserve titles for in-store pick-up at participating Blockbuster stores or at a Blockbuster Express branded vending machines.
Only select Motorola phones will have access to this service.
