HTC Mega handsetDetails about the HTC Mega were making rounds lately. Ubergizmo recently spilled the beans on the specifications of the upcoming mobile phone from HTC.

Reportedly, the handset is driven by Windows Mobile 6.5. The HTC Mega features quad-band GSM connectivity and dual-band HSDPA (900/2100 MHz). The mobile phone boasts a 2.8″ QVGA touchscreen display that offers 240 x 320 pixels resolution. The device is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity along with GPS/AGPS capabilities. Further, it is powered by 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor.

The HTC handset is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera. The mobile phone is equipped with 256MB ROM and 256MB RAM. Moreover, users can also expand the memory owing to the microSD memory card slot. The device is inclusive of Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR functionality. Apparently, the dimensions of the Windows Mobile driven handset are 104mm x 55mm x 12.8mm.

The HTC Mega might feature TouchFlo functionality and will be apparently offered with 1100mAh battery. The HTC handset probably packages WLAN 802.11b/g.

Reportedly, the HTC Mega will come with a price tag of $300 and might hit the stores in the coming months.
