It looks like Facebook dedication will never go out of date and this has just been affirmed with a sneak peek of the Motorola Motokey Social. The Motorola Canada website has recently been updated with a ‘coming soon’ page on this handset.
As the name spells it out, the Motokey Social is all about staying virtually connected with friends and loved ones. The defining feature of this device is a dedicated Facebook button on its QWERTY keypad. Previously, this sort of Facebook commitment was seen in HTC devices like the Salsa and ChaCha, Inq phones, and the Vodafone Blue which was released in India not too long ago.
Apart from Facebook, the Motorola handset is also designed to give easy access to websites like Twitter, Gmail, YouTube, and others which are popular among social networking buffs. Along with its QWERTY keypad, the device also possesses a capacitive touchscreen of 2.4 inches. With this, users can smartly select the interface depending on what function is being used.
The phone comes with a camera of 3MP resolutions on the rear panel which should facilitate quick and easy update of photos. It offers connectivity options like Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and microUSB. Supporting 64MB of RAM, it arrives with ready internal memory of 50MB. The handset is garnished with smoke gray hues and licorice accents.
