Some audiences missed out on the Motorola Milestone XT720 when it planned to enter the market a little earlier, due to its 256MB of memory and a 550MHz processor. However, Motorola does not intend to miss out on those audiences.
The latest news from the Motorola Developer’s Blog is that they have revamped the Android powered Milestone XT720 with a processor clock speed of 720MHz and a 512MB RAM. This is sure to upgrade the phone in customers’ minds who may have not picked the phone due to the lack of these attributes.
The Motorola Milestone XT720 adorns sleek 10.9mm body with capacitive touch Android 2.1 smartphone. It endows a combination of enhanced media and internet facility to users. The latest additions may further augment the smartphone’s multimedia experience. The handset is GPS and Bluetooth enabled. It has a 3.7 inches display with a 480 x 854 (FWVGA) resolution.
The Motorola Milestone XT720 comes loaded with an 8MP camera with auto focus and Xenon Flash, HD video viewing, 10x digital zoom with 720p HD camcorder and an embedded 8GB microSD card. It also equips Motorola’s Motonov turn by turn navigation. The device features Google Mobile apps including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube.
The release date of the product hasn’t been changed, its still expected to be launched later this month in Europe. However, uncertainty still remains on when the product will be launched in the US. The pricing details of this latest Motorola offering is unclear for now.
