Those who spend hours quarreling about trivia can take a look at this piece of news from Google. Last month it had launched a way to provide short answers to search queries and now according to the Official Google Mobile Blog, the feature has been made available for the iPhone, Palm WebOS and Android-powered devices in English.
Trivia quarrels can now be settled in seconds, by simply posting the question on Google on the user’s mobile browser. The iPhone users can simply logon to the Google Mobile App while Google Search can be activated by Android users.
Users an also support the answers with a list of websites by clicking on the “Show sources” link. The sources list incorporates significant text from each page, enabling the user to quickly scan and verify if Google has interpreted the context of the answer appropriately. It also enables the user to go to the original website and check out all the details. Google is still improvising the software to provide answers to more questions.
