Enabling users to enjoy the content of their smartphone on a bigger yet portable screen, the Motorola Lapdock 100 will soon be made available. This device is being released through AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint.

Utilizing this lapdock should be as comfortable as using a laptop with its 10.1-inch screen. It offers a battery life of around five hours while simultaneously charging the smartphone connected to it.

With a view to expand multi-tasking options, this peripheral is equipped with features like Adobe Flash, Adobe Reader which accommodates PDF files, and also QuickOffice or Google Docs. Additionally, the Motoprint application which is compatible with numerous printers is provided pre-loaded to readily print such documents.

Currently, the gadget is compatible with several Motorola smartphones including the Motorola Atrix 2, Motorola Photon 4G, and Motorola Droid Bionic. It is also expected to be compatible with forthcoming webtop-enabled devices from the company.

The Motorola Lapdock 100 will be available from AT&T starting October 17. Later this quarter, the gadget is expected to be carried by Verizon Wireless and Sprint. Pricing details have not been revealed yet.
