It may sound bizarre, but designer Seunghan Song has indeed thought of the Morning Dew mobile phone as a device resembling a dew drop, while its charger looks like a leaf. The concept also boasts of a completely different way of finding out whether the phone has been fully charged or not.
The key highlight is that it can also be employed as a decorative gadget when not in use thanks to its unusual looks, reports Yanko Design. The device wears a curvaceous form factor with rounded edges, which apart from giving it a stylish appearance, makes for a firm grip. The gradation of light in this concept materializes as water waves and once its keypad slides out, this gradation spreads across the handset’s entire exterior. It starts from the navigation button and goes all the way towards the end of the numeric keyboard.
Considering that a dew drop looks best on a leaf, it is only natural for the designer to throw in an accompanying gadget that is similar in aesthetics to the former. Apparently, that’s the reason why its charger has been constructed like a leaf. Also, while charging, the phone needs to be kept on this sliding charger and the body slides to the bottom when it is fully powered.
Although there’s no confirmation yet on the realization of the Morning Dew mobile phone concept, we hope that this attractive looking device hits the market sometime in the future.
