MobiMogul to offer Advertising Service on Mobile Phones

MobiMogul Advertising Service on Mobile Phones

MobiMogul in early January 2007 was struggling to come up with a solution for advertisers of mobile phones and has now been able to come up with an answer to all consumer questions.

MobiMogul is going to introduce an advertisement ringback service known as AdTones.

These AdTones are short 10 to 20 second audible tones of consumer products and service advertisements so the consumer has an opportunity to earn a percentage of revenue each time the advertisement is heard.

MobiMogul takes their recorded ads and allows consumers to help promote their products or service through their ad ringback tones.

AdTones are like ringback tones which replace the standard ring-ring on any phone and heard by anyone who places a call to a number that is using the AdTones.

The AdTones service is attracting mobile phone service providers because they share revenue generated by advertisements.

According to the Management team of MobiMogul, “We have three situations currently taking place in regards to mobile advertising: 1. Advertisers want a better way to communicate with their potential customers; 2. service providers want to increase subscriber loyalty, revenue, and market share; and 3. mobile users want a way to decrease their bills as well as earn some extra cash. The solution: AdTones which creates a win-win-win solution for all parties involved.”

The MobiMogul service is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2008.

The AdTones service is expected to generate $895 million worldwide this year, though it is anticipated to grow to $14.6 billion by 2011.
