Mobile TV Broadcast Coming Soon For Mobile Phones

Mobile TV broadcast These days mobile phones with TV are in much demand.

But the problem is that you do not get proper signals for it.

TV stations in 22 U.S cities have now made an announcement that they will broadcast their signals received for mobile phones.

The new mobile TV service will enable its users to access information on traffic updates, news and weather conditions. The service will be a boon during the emergency situations like hurricanes as the signal will not turn down as mobile networks. Although the plans for the new service are not yet complete LG electronics, Delphi, Visteon and Kenwood revealed the mobile broadcast signals at CES 2009.

“As with other launches of new broadcasting services, there’s a ‘chicken-and-egg’ conundrum,” says Mark Aitken, director of advanced technology for the Sinclair Broadcasting Group Inc. “Without broadcasts, there is no market for devices. Without devices, there is no one to broadcast to.”

The Mobile Digital TV will cover 35% of US households and will include major cities like Washington, San Francisco, New York, Chicago and Philadelphia. Mobile TV will broadcast around 10 channels for $15 per month. The service will roll out soon in United States.
