The all new Mobiado CPT003 concept phone seems lucky enough to stand a class apart, thanks to its luxurious construct. Duly sticking to the rule of ‘Doing things differently’ the mind behind this piece of hardware is designer Peter Bonac.
The new concept showcases an interesting blend of aesthetics and couture fashion that dresses the handset in a sophisticated ensemble. The exterior is encapsulated in a refined Italian leather coating that is complemented by gold zippers. The latter are sutured together using gold threads to create a uniform design. The touchscreen is apparently sculpted from a large slab of sapphire crystal, adding to its gleam. Besides these, there are various keys and buttons allocated on selected regions of the handset, which are composed from solid gold as well.
The company reveals that the design is primarily meant to serve as a prototype for developing similar phones at a later stage. Something quite evident in its composition and form factor is that the handset has been tailored to bear a pricey tag. And upcoming devices that have a design of this sort imbibed into them are likely to be worthy picks, provided potential buyers have a horde of cash jiggling in their pockets.
The Mobiado CPT003 phone is a concept in every sense. So the question of release date and price details shouldn’t arise. However, it could be materialized sooner or later.
