Miyowa introduces Facebook Chat on its InTouch5 platform

Miyowa Social networking sites have seen a huge growth, and this swell is not likely to end soon. It is believed that currently Facebook itself has 500 million members as of July 2010. Previously, these sites could only be accessed via computers, however with advancements in mobile technology they have come to handheld devices too. Recently, Miyowa unveiled its own Facebook Chat for mobile phones.

“Facebook Chat is growing at an amazing rate on the Web. We believe Facebook Chat has become a major channel of communication and will be one of the killer mobile apps in the coming year,” stated Pascal Lorne, Miyowa co-founder and CEO.

This new Facebook integration will allow users to access the SNS on the go anytime, anywhere. The Chat will be joining Facebook on Miyowa’s InTouch5 platform. It can be procured separately or combined with other social network sites and IMs.

Miyowa will offer Facebook Chat to 35 network carriers along with seven handset manufacturers that currently use InTouch5. The offering is already available and is proffered in addition to the conventional social networks and IM.
