Microsoft Introduces New Version of Windows Live for Mobile Operators

New Version of Windows Live On Mobile Phones Since the Mobile World Congress 2008 is going on, there are a lot of new mobile phone being showcased. Microsoft has made an announcement regarding the introduction of a new version of its Windows Live Mobile Developer Program. This will allow operators to adopt and deploy Windows Live services.

Microsoft’s developer community will enable to deliver compelling Windows Live services and provide flexibility to access the Windows Live platform to innovate on top of those services. It can also connect mobile operators to its customers to Windows Live, which known for communications and sharing networks in the world, create additional revenue opportunities and enhance the customer experience.

The Windows Live Mobile Developer Program include new features to Microsoft’s Mobile Services Protocol and a new software development kit (SDK), enabling developers to create mobile versions of Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Spaces that can work on any phone operating system. These updates help the developers the capability to create applications with an exceptional user experience and more advanced functionality.

This program has been launched by Microsoft over two years ago. Since then, many consumers are dependent on it. Now, there are over 800 devices equipped to support Windows Live for Mobile.

Nokia’s 60 Series platform has adopted the Mobile Services Protocol to offer new capabilities to its mobile phone. It offers the ability to share media files, messaging conversation and e-mail. It also allows Windows Live Contacts and phone address book and one click file photo upload to users Windows Live Spaces.
