After a dry spell of a few weeks, Micromax has bounced back to India with a Canvas device that has very un-creatively been named Juice A77. The company hasn’t gone official with the phone, but Homeshop18 has listed it on the website for a price of Rs 7,999. If you have made up your mind to purchase the gadget, you will be a little disappointed to know that although the eretailer has put the entry-level gadget up, it is currently out of stock.
For the aforementioned price, you get a multi-touch real estate of 5 inches on the front panel of the Micromax Canvas Juice A77. It can spurt out visuals in 480 x 854p resolution. The display is accompanied by a VGA webcam for video calling purposes, while the rear panel plays host to a 5MP camera. The latter tags along common attributes like auto focus, LED flash, digital zoom and video recording capabilities amongst other things.
To help users keep their personal and professional lives separate, the company has carved dual SIM card slots on the chassis. Additionally, a microSD bay has been embedded for inserting a memory card of not more than 32GB capacity as its 4GB onboard storage could prove to be insufficient. This affordable phone makes the most of the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS.
When it comes to the processor of the phone, users may not appreciate the inclusion of a dual core chipset that clocks in a speed of 1.3GHz. This component seeks assistance from 1GB of RAM. And the responsibility of providing a long battery life has been assigned to a 3000mAh battery.
