The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 has been unveiled and it will definitely be launched in India, but we do not know exactly when that will happen. This dual SIM device can give some tough competition to the various quad core phablets that are dominating the Indian mobile segment.
The smartphone is very much like its predecessor, but the South Korean company has made sure to enhance it further with better components. Features that are normally found in Samsung phones have been pre-loaded in it so you can expect the device to bring S Translator, Group Play, S Travel, Story Album, Sound & Shot, Best Face, Best Photo and many more.
Most of the space on the front side on the exterior has been taken up by a 5.25-inch TFT touchscreen that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. An 8MP camera with attributes like auto focus, LED flash, digital zoom and many more, lays claim over the rear panel, whereas in the front, next to the screen, you will find a 1.9MP webcam for face-to-face video calling.
As the Grand handset operates with the assistance of the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS, it is likely to bring some Google mobile services too. Needless to say, potential users can even visit the Play store. Under the hood it hides a 1.2GHz quad core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, a 2600mAh battery and 8GB of onboard storage that is expandable up to 64GB.
