Rumored Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 could be the company’s first 1080p phone

The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 that happens to be the company’s first and foremost full HD smartphone, has been leaked on the web. While some of the homegrown companies which greatly contribute to the entry-level and mid-range mobile market of India have already crafted smartphones with full high definition screens, Micromax has jumped on to the bandwagon only now.

Obviously the company hasn’t mentioned anything about the device as yet, but a Twitter account that goes by the name of MMXNewscaster has managed to lay its hands on some of the details of this gadget. As we already said, it will have a 1080p display on the front and we are expecting it to be as good as the current flagship, the Canvas 4, in terms of specifications. The latter is loaded with some sought-after attributes, but its screen can only offer up to 720p resolution.

Another juicy tidbit that has been revealed by the serial leaker is that like a horde of devices currently selling in the Indian markets, the upcoming Turbo will have a quad core processor for its internal working as well. So that’s pretty much all that we know about this Micromax handset and we are guessing that its launch isn’t that far off.

Even though the homegrown company has struck a chord with smartphone users in India, it seems to be late to the FHD party and when it arrives, it will have some really good contenders to compete with. These include the Gionee Elife E6, Intex Aqua i7 and Spice Pinnacle FHD amongst others.

We wonder how much the Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 will cost. Any guesses?
