The Micromax Canvas 2 Colours A120 recently went official in India via the company website and even though its availability details have still not been mentioned, an e-retailer has already put it up for sale. Snapdeal has priced it under Rs 10,000 and it claims to deliver the gadget within two business days.
This handset comes across as very similar to the Lava Iris 450 Colour, an entry-level Android smartphone which brings multi-colored back panels, just like the Micromax Canvas 2 Colours A120. The device in question comes in dark grey and white shades. Its former variant is packaged along with red and blue covers, while the latter model is accompanied by yellow and green ones.
Featuring a 5-inch IPS touchscreen, the phone can deliver visuals in 1280 x 720p resolution and makes the most of the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS. However, the Indian manufacturer has not mentioned anything about a software upgrade. It acquires multitasking properties from a quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor sprinting at 1.3GHz as well as 1GB of RAM and a 2000mAh battery.
An 8MP camera and a 2MP webcam have also been tossed into the mix to facilitate video conferencing and photography at all times. And although the Micromax phone’s total internal memory is limited to 4GB, it can be expanded further by up to 32GB using a microSD card.
