Micromax Bolt A28 and A59 up for sale via official website

The Micromax Bolt A28 and the Bolt A59 have gone official in India shortly after the A66’s arrival was confirmed by the manufacturer. These devices were spotted on online retail stores a while ago and now the Micromax eStore itself has put it up for sale. They are not likely to burn a huge hole in your pockets.

There are very few differences between the two Bolt devices, otherwise they are pretty similar in terms of specifications. The A28 is based on the Gingerbread OS, whereas users opting for the A59 can make the most of the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 platform. A software update doesn’t seem to be in the offing. Also, in case you wish to have 3G network connectivity, you will have to go with the A59 as the other gadget does not support it.

Micromax Bolt A28 And A59

Both the devices have a rear-facing camera each. The former’s features a 0.3MP lens and the latter is slightly better with a 1.3MP snapper. They host a 3.5-inch TFT touchscreen on their front sides to render visuals in 320 x 480p resolution. These gadgets are powered by 1GHz Spreadtrum processors and bring 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM which is expandable by up to 16GB. A 1500mAh battery can also be found in these Bolt devices.

The Micromax Bolt A28 and Bolt A59 have been priced at Rs 3,599 and Rs 4,499, respectively.
