Micromax has done very well with its smartphone offerings in India, so news about an A120 Canvas HD Pro and an A11Q Canvas as well as their price details can hardly fail to get everyone interested. We’ve gathered all the clues and presented them here for fans who want to play the guessing game.
We say ‘guessing game’ because the Micromax A120 Canvas HD Pro and A11Q Canvas have yet to be officially announced by the company. But they have been spotted by several sources across the web and the former has already made its way to an online portal. Rumored to arrive towards the very end of June with a tag of around Rs. 20,000, the handset should sport a 5.5-inch touchscreen delivering 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution.
Posted above is the Sulekha page advertising the upcoming availability of the device. Besides the phablet form factor, it also boasts of running on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1 and a 2GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor. The list of high end specifications is made even more attractive by its dual SIM capability, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard memory and up to 64GB of microSD expandability for extra hoarding space. GizBot also reports a 13MP rear camera, 3.2MP front lens and 3000mAh battery for it.
There are a few things that don’t add up here though. Firstly, the image looks very much like that of a smartphone we’ve seen before. Spot the main camera on the rear which is definitely not showing as a 13MP one? Secondly, the combination of high quality features at the cost mentioned above is a little too unbelievable. We’ll just leave our readers to think about it and move on to the second story. DroidExtra.org claims to have received system files on the Rs. 12,000 handset which apparently carries a quad core chip, Jelly Bean, a 5-inch display, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB, a 8MP main sensor and a 2MP front camera.
