The Nokia Asha 303 and Asha 302 are now business-ready with the Mail for Exchange app downloadable for the phones via the online store. This should provide users with instant access to Microsoft Office documents and work emails while on the move.
Basically, the utility exploits Microsoft’s Exchange ActiveSync protocol, which syncs mails, documents and calendar contacts between the respective devices and Microsoft office servers. Owing to this synchronization, all work emails, calendar and contacts can be comfortably accessed on the handset in question. Updates related to work emails are displayed, and users can also create, accept or reject meeting requests.
“If you have a Nokia Asha 302 or a Nokia Asha 303 then we have some very good news for you.The Mail for Exchange application is now available for your device as a free download in the Nokia Store. So, wherever you are, your phone will now be able to give you instant access to your work emails, contacts and calendar,” states a post on the official Nokia Conversations blog.
Contacts can be found in the Global Address Book and email attachments may be downloaded as well as sent to the concerned parties. The security features stay right in place to include alphanumeric passwords or remote wipe. Functions like copying, moving or flagging messages should be a breeze with the app. It’d be good to note that data charges will apply for the transactions, though the application can be availed of free of charge.
