Given that proud owners of ICS smartphones are now yearning for Android’s latest mobile OS, HTC One Jelly Bean update speculations are cropping up. Nevertheless, users of this HTC series’ phones can stay satisfied by the fact that the Taiwan-based company has at least revealed its plans of scheduling Android 4.1 upgrades for its One family.
According to the official word, the company is quite enthusiastic about melding its new devices with Google’s latest spin on its mobile OS. This Android OS version is now being reviewed to fix appropriate update terms and plans. Till then, prospective users and owners of HTC handsets will need to keep their eyes skinned for further notifications on this front.
As per a post on Android Central, it is almost safe to assume that the One series may soon see the Jelly Bean update. But the question staring hard at all fans is – when will the day come?
The fresh software brings with it a host of interface changes including the ability to answer calls and messages via notifications. The virtual keypad onboard is touted to be intuitive and smooth, with improved predictive text coming into the scene.
Voice-input technologies have also been tweaked along with the inclusion of better Voice Search. A rather interesting attribute called Google Now has been incorporated within the software to update users on the weather, traffic and other important functions at the required times.
For now, the HTC One Jelly Bean update release date has not received a mention.
