As people travel in luxury cars these cars, phone companies are now trying to make luxury mobile phones for their customers. As Porsche and Ferrari have come up with mobile phones, similarly UK-based Meridian Telecom has launched Hummer HT1 mobile handset.
Meridian Telecom together with General Motors SUV brand Hummer have made a three years contract to launch Hummer mobile phones in India.
Rajiv Khanna, CEO, Meridian Telecom remarked, “The handset has been designed by a French company called ModeLabs and manufactured in Korea. It has a navigation designed like the steering wheel of H1 and the selection keys designed like the vehicle’s grill.”
Not only are Porsche and Ferrari coming up with such sleek phones, but Vertu too has launched Ascent Ti which is made from Titanium metal, used to make sports cars engines.
