Just recently, LG had announced the LG Quantum operating on the Windows Phone 7 coming through AT&T. Well, another handset from the manufacturer has been added to Verizon Wireless’ portfolio dubbed, LG Vortex. The sleek device is styled in a beautiful violet and black.

The smartphone has been fitted with a 3.2 inch touchscreen with tactile feedback offering fast and accurate touch vibration response. It incorporates Swype technology that can be used for quick and efficient text input. Running on the latest Android 2.2, the handset integrates Bing Search and Maps along with the entire suite of Google Mobile Services including Google Talk, Gmail, YouTube, Google Voice and access to Android Market.

This Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi enabled device is capable of supporting 3G Mobile HotSpots. It features customizable homescreens with the ability to opt for either 5 or 7 homescreens. Supporting expandable memory up to 32GB, this beauty is pre-loaded with LG Apps such as My Status with Twitter and Facebook for LG. sporting a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera and camcorder with flash, this smartphone proffers VZ Navigator capabilities. The Proximity sensor immediately locks the touchscreen as users are talking on the phone.

The LG Vortex can be picked up for $79.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a fresh two-year agreement. It is available at all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at verizonwireless.com from November 18, 2010. Users will have to avail a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan along with an Email and Web for Smartphone plan.
