LG Optimus L1 2 joins low-budget Jelly Bean phones

The LG Optimus L1 2 is the latest addition to the Lseries which was introduced at the MWC this year and the smartphone seems to stand at a level beneath the L3 2. This announcement has come on the heels of the LG G2 launch.

Diving into the specifications without further ado, the Optimus L1 2 has been crafted around a 3-inch screen resting within a frame measuring 102.9mm x 59.2mm x 12.2mm in dimensions. It serves a generous helping of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS and seeks help from a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor parading a clock speed of 1GHz.

There is 4GB of internal memory tending to users’ hoarding needs, in addition to which a microSD card slot also exists within the smartphone. Owing to the inclusion of the latter, the overall storage space can be expanded up to 32GB.

As far as the onboard camera unit is concerned, a 2MP snapper shoulders the responsibilities of capturing pictures and recording VGA videos. Furthermore, a 1,540mAh battery and 512MB of RAM can also count as the device’s key highlights.

White Variant

Along with delivering the aforementioned details, a post on FoneArena has also revealed that the Optimus L1 2 is pegged at a price of 19,90,000 Vietnamese Dongs (Rs 5,738). As of now, the gadget has debuted in the UK and Russia, splashed in shades of white and black. But it cannot be ascertained whether the handset is fated to strike stores in India as well.
