It might be a couple of months before this new handset is seen foraying across the UK, but the LG Optimus 4X HD price and availability details have already been disclosed by Clove. Also, the phone has been made available for pre-order by the online retailer.
Unveiled as a part of the Korea based conglomerate’s MWC line-up this year, the Optimus 4X HD bags a place among the latest releases in the market to originally operate on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform. Measuring 8.9mm slim, this gadget flaunts a 4.7-inch True HD IPS touchscreen which displays visuals in a resolution of 1280 x 720p HD. The rear facing camera has been embedded with an 8MP BSI sensor, while the front panel is dotted by a 1.3MP snapper.
Integrated with a 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 4-plus-1 processor, the device will also mark the first quad core smartphone from LG. The fifth core of the CPU should work as a battery saver. In addition to this, the chipset comes with a 12-core GPU which is said to enhance the overall visual experience. For internal storage purposes, the gadget has been incorporated with 16GB user memory.
While making an announcement about the handset in question, the retailing website also conveyed some information about the LG Optimus 3D Max. The official Clove blog states that the 3D Max will not be released in the UK.
The LG Optimus 4X HD price and availability have now been revealed by Clove. Buyers in the UK can pre-order this device for £456, inclusive of VAT. It is expected to begin shipping in June 2012.
