LG last made news when its enticing Ally mobile phone was updated to Android 2.2 with advanced enhancements and improvements. Engadget has revealed that the LG Optimus 2X handset powered by Nvidia’s dual-core Tegra 2 processor has hit stores across South Korea.

We hope that the company releases the LG Optimus 2X mobile phone in Europe soon. In the month of February, the stunning white variant is anticipated to be available in Korea. However, it may be difficult to free the white variant from the strong hold of Korea.

This entrant is capable of offering 1080p video playback and recording with HDMI mirroring. The gaming segment is revived since the device connects to HDTVs for a console-like experience. Gamers can also take advantage of the LG Optimus 2X’s HDMI mirroring, accelerometer and gyro sensor.

Disappointingly, the availability details for Europe are still under the wraps and users can stay tuned for additional information.
