LG LU6200 coming to South Korea as the Optimus LTE?

LG Logo Pictures of the LG LU6200 been leaked and it will be known as the Optimus LTE upon release, reports GSMArena. The device is first expected to see the daylight exclusively in South Korea, followed by the rest of the world.

Reportedly, this is the first handset by LG featuring a 4.5-inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Apart from this, the device is also expected to debut the award-winning AH-IPS display technology which outclassed the super AMOLED in the Samsung Galaxy S II.

Apparently, it is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset featuring 1.5GHz Scorpion dual cores, along with the Adreno 220 GPU and 1GB RAM. Also, it is expected to sport an 8MP main camera for snapping pictures, supported by a 1.3 front-facing one for the purpose of video calling.

Another highlight of this device is the LTE radio which will allow data network transfers with speeds of up to 75Mbps. Supposedly, it also allows NFC, DLNA, Wi-Fi direct connectivity, and is DMB enabled, although the last option is said to be limited to the South Korean release. The handset is also speculated to be the first one to host the Street Fighter IV exclusively, for a period of three months.

Soon expected to release in South Korea by the name of LG Optimus LTE, the LU6200 may hit worldwide markets by the dawn of next year, probably by another name.
