LG Intuition Verizon release date revealed through leaked press shot

LG Intuition

The LG Intuition Verizon release date has surfaced, though there is no official confirmation from the quarters. This handset is the re-christened variant of the Optimus Vu which went live internationally a few days back. The phone in question is expected to commence shipping on September 15.

What’s interesting about this leaked press shot is that it not just gives us a whiff of the LG device’s exterior but its launch date as well. Apparently, the image shows off a blurry September 15 date, which could be the shipping period. This particular product will operate on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, unlike the one that was launched way back at the MWC.

Running through its other specifications, the smartphone-tablet hybrid sports a very generously sized touch panel spanning through 5 inches and proffers a 4:3 aspect ratio with a resolution of 768 × 1024p for visuals. It hides a beefy Nvidia Tegra 3 4-plus-1 quad core chipset under its chassis, with the fifth being the battery saver core.

Unlike the 3G-enabled global version, this build is expected to operate on the service provider’s 4G LTE network. It is equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a front-facing 1.3MP snapper for video calls. It tips the scales at 168 grams and is built within dimensions measuring 139.6mm × 90mm × 8.5mm. The handset may ship with 32GB memory onboard, though it is not clear if more storage options would be introduced.

Notably, some specifications in terms of the processor and others may vary for the Verizon model. According to DroidDog, the news still needs to be taken with a ‘grain of salt’ as it is not backed up by the company.

For now, fans can keep their fingers crossed for the official LG Intuition Verizon price and release date information to drop in soon.
