LG G2 set to take a global leap, US and Germany get it this month

After showing off its abilities in South Korea, the LG G2 is now all set to make its way to other markets. And while October was earlier revealed to be its month of arrival, LG has now made it clear that the powerful handset will be debuting in September itself, as far as the US and Germany are concerned. No word’s out yet about when the handset will be brought into other territories however. The device will be on display at the IFA in Berlin from September 6 onward, alongside the new LG G Pad 8.3 tablet.

Following a bevy of leaks which had already given away crucial details, the company had unveiled the G2 on August 7 this year at a huge even held in New York. This Android 4.2.2 handset comes equipped with a full HD display that’s sized at 5.2-inch and leaves an extremely small volume of space for the bezel. One of the highlights of the phone is that it has its volume and power buttons placed on its rear surface instead of its sides.

The LG G2 features a 13MP camera sensor which even kicks in an Optical Image Stabilizer for enhanced photography. This snapper records full HD videos, and offers 8x zoom. And then there’s even a 2.1MP front camera on board. The powerful quad core Snapdragon 800 chipset occupies space inside the LG G2, providing it with clock speeds of up to 2.26GHz. Its RAM stands at 2GB, while its internal memory has been kept locked at 16GB and 32GB for two different models.

We still don’t know when the LG G2 will be arriving on Indian shores, but we’ll keep you posted with whatever information we can find regarding the matter.
