LG G Pad 8.3 to hit store shelves in South Korea by next week

The LG G Pad 8.3 that was introduced about a month ago, finally has a price and a release date. It is slated to be up for grabs in South Korea by next week and the device will be made available in regions like North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, CIS and more before 2013 comes to an end.

What exactly can be expected from the LG G Pad 8.3? Well, for starters, the device belonging to the G series of gadgets is adorned by an 8.3-inch WUXGA full HD touchscreen with a pixel density of 273ppi. It is outlined by a slim bezel and the device itself measures 8.3 millimeters in thickness. Weighing in at 338 grams, the LG tablet doesn’t miss out on packing in a punch.

Alongside the screen, users will find a 1.3MP webcam that should facilitate video conferencing, while the flip side is graced by a 5MP camera. The slate’s total onboard storage amounts to 16GB and in case it is not enough, buyers can expand it using a compatible memory card. Its internal working is carried out under the supervision of a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor which works in conjunction with 2GB of RAM.

The device powered by the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS, hides a 4,600mAh battery under the hood and brings a horde of features that include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. Prospective customers can even look forward to proprietary attributes like Slide Aside, QTV, KnockOn and QSlider to name a few.

A price tag that reads KRW 550,000 has been slapped across the LG G Pad 8.3 which is roughly Rs 31,670.
