If you loved the original smartphone, the new LG G Flex 2 is certainly something you’ll be longing to get your hands on. Well, the wait isn’t going to be long as the handset has been officially launched in India and as you’d expect, it comes with a premium price tag of Rs 55000.
The LG G Flex 2 was originally launched earlier this year during the CES 2015 expo and it certainly didn’t take the company long to bring it to India. The handset is touted as the first to offer the Snapdragon 810 processor which is a high-performance 64-bit octa core chip, and it also improves upon the design and features introduced with the first generation model a year back.
The LG handset continues to flaunt a gorgeous curved design, but its overall size has been dropped. The display is now 5.5 inches wide from 6 inches and offers better visuals through its 1080p FHD P-OLED touchscreen. The device also retains the self-healing back cover found on the original which clears up scratches in just 10 seconds.

Android 5.0 Lollipop comes preloaded with the G Flex 2 and is also accompanied by enhancements like Gesture shot, Gesture view, Glance View and Fast Charge amongst others. The handset also supports 4G, but it isn’t clear whether it will be compatible with the LTE networks being deployed in India.

The LG G Flex 2 will go on sale in silver and red option later this month. What’s more, the company plans to bring its latest mid-range smartphones to India soon and also the Watch Urbane smartwatch which is slated for launch sometime in April.
