If two SIM cards in a phone did not seem enough to strike a balance between the opposite sides of life, the LG A290 might help by offering a place for a third one. Apparently, the first triple SIM device from the Korean manufacturer is geared up to ship exclusively to Russia.

According to the Russian website Hi-tech mail, the LG phone should be made available in the country late this month. Although not many specifications about its triple SIM operations are known, the website reveals details about other technical aspects of the device.

With a standard feature phone appearance, this gadget does not seem to focus on delivering multimedia access, fast web browsing, or other such functions which are seen in most present day smartphones. Instead, it looks keen on maintaining a subtle profile as compared to new age handsets.

The dimensions of this one measure 113.5 x 51 x 12.95 millimeters, while the screen size is 2.2 inches. It displays visuals in a resolution of 176 x 220p. Along with the screen, the front side also accommodates a numeric keypad with a central navigation button.

The candy bar form factor houses a 1500mAh battery which should keep it running for a fairly long duration. Apart from this, it also boasts of an integrated flashlight as well as a 1.3MP rear facing camera.

GSMArena reports the LG A290 price to be approximately €75, when converted from 2990 Russian rubles.
