Vying for attention among the many mobile devices at the CES 2012 are the freshly unveiled Lenovo S2 smartphone and IdeaTab S2 10 tablet. Both these gadgets boast of being lightweight and flaunt very trim form factors.
The latest tablet debuting from Lenovo’s stable, the IdeaTab S2 10, employs the Lenovo Mondrian UI and operates on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 dual core CPU. Powered by the new generation Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, it is accompanied by a light keyboard dock and a detachable design. Incorporated with a 10-inch display, it offers 20 hours of continuous battery life and gives users easy access to a plethora of apps in the Lenovo App Shop and the Android Market.

Running on the Android 2.3 OS, the S2 smartphone features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon technology and comes equipped with an 8MP rear facing camera. The cloud-ready handset lets users instantly sync pictures, music, videos and other such content through a dedicated online storage space that allows for convenient sharing across multiple devices. Additionally, owners do not need to worry about the safety of their data as the mobile device is integrated with a Kernel-level security system that secures personal information, prevents phishing and controls network and SMS traffic.
The Lenovo S2 smartphone and IdeaTab S2 10 tablet are currently available in China and will soon be shipping to other countries as well.
