Several iPhone applications have been launched recently. One more to the escalating list of apps includes the Track-r application for the iPhone released by Koombea.
A mobile client for Pivotal Tracker, this app was intended to facilitate device owners and developers to carry project tracking wherever they travel. Pivotal Tracker is claimed to be a free agile project management tool that allows real time partnership around a common prioritized backlog. The app comes with emergent iterations, velocity tracking and story-based iterative planning.
Dan Podsedly, Principal and Director of Engineering at Pivotal Labs, commented, “We’re excited to see what Koombea has done with the Pivotal Tracker API. We built the Pivotal Tracker API to enable developers to build on the functionality of the service and we think that building a mobile version of the Pivotal Tracker application is a great use of the API.”

The app comprises of a simple, spontaneous UI. Users can create and edit their stories, via this app. One can control their icebox, product backlog, and sprint backlogs well. RhoSync can also be used offline with this app.
Track-r utilizes Rhomobile’s Rhodes smartphone app structure to inscribe native apps for all chief smartphones pretty fast. Additionally, Rhomobile’s RhoSync enables the Track-r users to sync data to the device, thereby facilitating users to cope up with work regardless of the internet or cellular connection.
