Justdial has rolled out version 5.0 of its Android app with a new user interface and supposedly faster search results. The upgrade has also added an interactive maps and navigation feature.
The application can be accessed by users in India, UK, USA, UAE and Canada. Justdial is terming the new functions Search Plus, aiming for the tool to become a one-time solution for people to find services online. Along with helping consumers locate businesses, the app also lets them procure goods.
For instance, people can now book movie and flight tickets through the app. The Justdial application comes with Zomato-like features where users can search for places to eat nearby, even allowing users to order food online. It also acts as a comparison tool between offline and online sellers to determine the lowest price of items like smartphones.
Justdial has infused the app with several other features such as booking cabs, doctor’s appointments hotels and restaurant tables. It further allows for the ordering of flowers and medicines. Users can even pay bills and do some grocery shopping through the tool. The phone numbers, addresses and ratings it provides can be sent through SMS and email.
The app automatically detects a person’s location through GPS and can conduct a close proximity search through the Near Me function. Like we said above, a new interactive map makes it possible to easily follow directions. Justdial boasts that consumers using the app get cost-effective deals on products and services, as the vendors present in the application compete amongst each other to gain customers.
Justdial version 5.0 is live now and can be downloaded via the Google Play Store. iOS users will have to wait for some time before receiving the update.
